multiple cores
« on: February 25, 2015, 05:10:38 AM »
Hi,

Hello. New to these forums. Interested in using TCL for the purposes of doing work with mprime for mersenne.org.

I need a USB bootable linux, with multicore support. I'm not sure if TCL supports multiple cores so was wondering if anyone could tell me?

Thanks

William Labbett

TC kernel do support multiple cores in kernel. Do you mean other support?

It can be booted from USB.

No I just need to be able to run Mersenne number tests on each of the 6 cores of a machine I'm looking to use TCL on.

Sounds like it'll be possible.

Thanks very much for your reply  :)
