Please forgive my impertinence, but why would having two locations for discussions of TC be beneficial?

It's just that in the past when other projects have had this sort of divided support, I've seen a person ask a question in one of the forums or groups and the person who has the answer doesn't follow that particular forum or group.  So, the person with the question never gets an answer until they discover the better place to ask.

The folks that have the answers don't need to be looking all over the Internet for questions.  They'll have plenty of them in the Forum originally set up by the project originators.
