« on: January 22, 2014, 04:42:40 AM »
1. i have text file in home/tc with name malik.txt and in this file i write "abcdefgh".
2. i have created a backup 2 days ago and that time my file malik.txt contain "xyz" and i have backup this file later i change the backup file name to oldmydata.tgz.
3. today i change the backup file name to mydata.tgz and when i reboot system i don't create backup so my question is that when pc reboot which file will be in home/tc with "abcdefgh" or "xyz" or both or both merge like "abcdefghxyz"

the backup function does not merge files, it overwrites them
