description based package search?

Yeah, is there TCE package search with a package description based search option or could it be coming on any point  (soon)?

...and if not then why not?

...something like Debian site has...

Have you tried the "search" and "provides" in the apps gui

As far as I know, tcwonder's got a point: "search" works on the name, and "provides" works on the files.

Some time around the 3x era ,
I had  somthing that recreated the table data from http://tinycorelinux.net/3.x/tcz/
And added search option eg:
a)
b)

But then 4.x , server move , scm , and arm ports! happened .And the discriptions and the 3.x table disapeared
Now i think i like the idea of a compressed local copy of the tcz. info dep ect to xzgrep if possible!
