Understanding "Persistent home and opt"
« on: October 04, 2013, 06:05:05 PM »
Hi,
Can a persistent home and opt be designated from a cd installation, or is it made for a "frugal install"? I can't seem to set my home=sda4/tchome  and opt=sda4/tcopt directories. Am I getting the bootcodes right?

Code: [Select]
microcore mc home=sda4/tchome opt=sda4/tcopt
Thanks

Boot medium (initrd(s) and kernel) shouldn't matter.

Home and opt are drives, not drive/directory.
