While the offricial Rpi 3.8.8 (3.8.y) kernel is tagged as alpha, first impressions are good. It works fine, haven't seen the typical character input bug of 3.6.11. However it is just a plain system with USB keyboard, mouse, ethernet and a DVI monitor, no wireless tested. Anyhow looks promissing.
