Extensions for testing
« on: November 30, 2012, 08:03:37 AM »
Due to the space problems at ibiblio, this thread is for posting links to  code.google.com  where you may
post extensions for testing purposes only. As we are NOT trying to start a second repository, please limit
posts to extensions that require testing and feedback.

1. This thread may be removed at a later date once the space problem is resolved.
2. Extensions should be submitted to the repository once the space problem is resolved.
3. Correspondence related to testing should be done in the  TCE  subforum.
4. Do not post links in the  TCE  subforum back to this thread or to  code.google.com.

Hi

aspell updated to 0.60.6.1

https://sites.google.com/site/gordontinycore/aspell

Existing packages are aspell and aspell-en 0.60.0

I suggest you also consider downloading the aspell-mine which is designed (I can only hope) to allow English and other Native Language spellers to create and maintain their own word list as the dictionaries can be out-of-date.

New dictionaries for testing are   de, de-alt, es, fi, fr,hu, it, pt_BR, ru
The new dictionaries have their own download package under the folder called (a stroke of genius ?) dictionaries

good luck

Hi

update weechat to 0.3.9
One of the packages is locale, maintainer has given permission for me to have a go at updating.

weechat will want newer aspell packages as its built on them

Many of these "FileDropper" links are broken, really wanted to try Firefox 17.01  but the link goes to www.filedropper.com only  :(

Also

icecat
 is missing a symlink " ln -s /usr/local/icecat/icecat-17.0.1/icecat /usr/local/bin/icecat "

&

XPCOMGlueLoad error for file /usr/local/icecat/icecat-17.0.1/libxpcom.so:
libxul.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
Couldn't load XPCOM.

They exist in  "/usr/local/icecat/icecat-17.0.1/"

Loading firefox resolves the issue allowing icecat to run

library path issue??

hi coreplayer2,

icecat-17.0.1 works flawless for me,
although i didn´t load any other mozilla-package before,
no firefox, no minefield, no seamonkey,
even no thunderbird...
this link to /usr/local/bin wasn't needed yet, at least for me.

keep on digging!

Seems filedropper is only keeping the links for a short time for whatever reason.  In this case I will be best to wait until a solution to the ibiblio issue.
