Downloading source
« on: May 27, 2012, 07:07:23 AM »
Is there a tar.gz of the tinycore src (i.e. http://distro.ibiblio.org/tinycorelinux/3.x/release/src/)? I going to try recompiling the kernel and remaster. I assume I need most of the src contents to do so, correct?

Also, I tried to install `ezremaster` but the apps list only shows `exremaster-legacy` for 4.0/4.1, Is ezremaster deprecated?

To compile the kernel, you only need the kernel tarball and the config file, from the sources. But your link was for 3.x, an older kernel isn't going to run on 4.x.

Ezremaster was branched to support 4.2 and pre-4.2.
