upgrading

hello

Instead of burning a new cd, is there any other way to upgrade tcl when you normally boot from a cd. I presume the
replacing 2 files approach is for hdd installs of tcl...?

my pens are no good for booting.
Can't use unetbootin because of other bootloaders on this laptop

Using a CD-RW looks like an approach of choice (and erasing it each time to burn the new .iso).    ;)

ye...

desktop tools keep breaking my CD RW discs.....including Flburn....this is real annoying and has happened
2 or 3 times now. So the discs are useless...
