As in the title, in other words, does Xgamma (or similar) work with Xvesa?

Neither works with Xvesa AFAIK. Both should work with Xorg and a native driver.
The only barriers that can stop you are the ones you create yourself.

Ok curaga, i have guessed this.

Some days ago i have tried to use on my Savage video card the Xserver Xvesa alternative (called Xsavage) that you had made package on the 'old' DamnSmall Linux: unfortunately it does not work and say me:

"no matching card found"

Can you tell me some thing, about?

Thanks!

It is very old and likely buggy. I don't recommend using the old kdrive servers apart from Xvesa and Xfbdev, they got very little testing even before they were abandoned.
