MC & Xorg files
« on: September 04, 2011, 03:16:35 AM »
I have been unable to find the Xlibs.gz and Xprogs.gz files in the download section for microcore.

I usually build from microcore with these two files in the extension folder [not the optional folder].

Do I conclude from this that the preferred method is to add the tcz versions into the optional folder for Xlibs and Xprogs? The Xlibs.gz and Xprogs.gz are nowhere to be found as far as I can see otherwise.

Thanks in advance.

They behave like regular extensions now.

Yes they have for some time now. It's just that before you had a choice between methods; now you don't [it would seem].

Thanks for your reply.

You could still manually unsquash, then cpio and gzip these archives.
But why would anybody need this?
