Title: Extension name stlll in the left column of "Appsaudit": how to delete this name?
Post by: floppy on December 26, 2010, 11:00:43 AM
Hello,
I loaded "wine" few times ago as "on demand". Then deleted it from the "on demand" menu/column. Now, this application appears in the left column of the "apps audit".
Why? How can I delete it? Is it an old wine version which is temporaly loaded? I discovered that the wine use made a lot of huge ..dll files in my home/tce directory. Can I delete them?
Regards,
Pascal

The left column contains all extensions in optional that are not onboot or ondemand.
If you wish to delete it completely, you must mark it for deletion, and reboot.

Hello Gerald,
thanks. I could not identify how to mark them.. if I mark them they jump on the right screen immediately.

wrong turn, try this way

Restart AppsAudit
Dependencies -> Update .dep files
Dependencies -> Build Reporting Database

Select the extension you want to delete
Dependencies -> Mark for Deletion
Repeat the last 2 steps for all extensions you want to delete

Control with
Dependencies -> Display Marked for Deletion

File -> Quit
Reboot
