Title: extensions loaded on boot having missing deps are ignored
Post by: jls on April 02, 2010, 07:28:25 AM
in the past the tce-setup used to stop, now no.
For example I've in onboot.lst tc-ita but in my tce dir there is no glibc_gconv.
The system starts without showing the error

Typically you should not have a broken system.  But, yes, it does not stop, when it did stop, then it was not easy to fix such a broken system, now, you can easily use appsaudit, check for missing dependencies and reboot.

That was a welcome change.  It was bear to fix when the wireless extensions wouldn't  load because an extension before 'w' had a problem.
No wired interface on the laptop.

I don't agree, I don't want that, if there is an error the user must know
