Title: vpnc access from another country - how?
Post by: alu on October 17, 2009, 02:37:53 PM
i have to move from country a to country b and want to keep an access per vpnc to a library located in country a; but this library located in the country a does not allowed connection from another country per vpnc; my question is: do i have a possibility to change my ip in order for vpnc to display a virtual ip of the country a even if i am in the country b and make the vpnc connection from the country b. this is a fair question with no illegal background since i am a member of the library of the country a and want to keep the service it provides.

You would need a proxy from country a for that. I don't know how vpnc works, or how many proxy services would work with it.

If you have ssh access to a box in country a, you could do it this way too: ssh to box a, in there vpnc to library.
