tinycore_2.4 can not auto load wireless drivers(notebook's pci-e),must be use command "modprobe ***"
tinycore_2.4.1 can not auto load *.tce. with USB boot.
-
Could you give a few more details about the errors?
For example, do you mean that a usb boot will not load the extensions in /tce - it works fine for me...
-
use 2.3.1, usb boot will load the extensions in /tce and can auto load wireless drv.
use 2.4/2.4.1 ,usb boot will load the extensions in /tce, but ,can not auto load wireless drv.
only changed "tinycore.gz" file.
sorry my english... :'(
-
Maybe you could take the wireless extensions out of /tce and load them after boot to see if you get the same behaviour?
-
The key here may be that you are trying to use a *.tce extension in 2.4.x. *.tce extensions are not supported in 2.4.x, you will need to replace with the *.tcz equivelents.

oh... bad english...
Use USB Boot(2.3/2.3.1):
i copy wireless-drv.tce in tce,then boot system, i can found my wirelesscard(with "ifconfig -a")
ok,now:
delete "tinycore.gz" file, then copy "tinycore.gz" new file (2.4) in tce and boot sysytem, i can not found my card, must be use "modprobe iwlagn" .
tce is run ,but can not load drivers.
sorry my english... :'( :'( :'(
