Hi guys, since I am facing this problem specifically on picore I wasn't sure if I should ask here or in another sub-forum.
I wget-ed palemoon.tcz from the 13x/x86 repo and the tce-loaded it, I got an icon to show up on task bar(using TC.tcz) but when clicked nothing would happen. Tried to sh palemoon.tcz but I get syntax error unexpected ")"

Hi newbie098
Programs compiled to run on x86 processors will not run on ARM processors.
-
Gotcha, I'll try and find the correct repo
Edit: don't seem to find any browser on 13X/armv7

Hi newbie098
How about:
http://www.tinycorelinux.net/13.x/armv7/tcz/firefox.tcz.info

Hi newbie098
There's also:

Thanks a lot!
Hi newbie098
How about:
http://www.tinycorelinux.net/13.x/armv7/tcz/firefox.tcz.info
Firefox I believe is too heavy, plus it says on .info that it won't run on RPi02w.(rather it doesn't say it *would* run.
Hi newbie098
There's also:
http://www.tinycorelinux.net/13.x/armv7/tcz/epiphany.tcz.info
I downloaded it and it would run internal html files no problem but won't get properly from websites. I pinged to check if it's a network problem but i got pings grom google.com no problem and also would wget tces and load-tces from repo with no issues at all. only on Epiphany it is that I run onto problems of this nature. Are there any alternatives at all to epiphany? Preferably something with GUI and preferably but not limited to things that are also able to run HTML5 video.

Hi newbie098
... plus it says on .info that it won't run on RPi02w. ...
But you said:
... don't seem to find any browser on 13X/armv7
RPi02w is probably armv6. The only browsers I see there are:
http://www.tinycorelinux.net/13.x/armv6/tcz/dillo.tcz.info
http://www.tinycorelinux.net/13.x/armv6/tcz/links.tcz.info
Using tce-load is the right way to install extensions. It automatically goes to the repo that matches your TC version
and architecture. It also resolves and installs the extensions dependency chain.
If something is in the armv7 repo and not in the armv6 repo, there's probably a good reason for that.

RPi02w is probably armv6.
Gotcha. I do use tce-load, Just with palemoon I was confused when I wasn't able to download it via tce-load and that's why I wgetted it.
Thanks a lot! When I have some time I'll try those options.

I believe the RPi0 2W is armv7

I downloaded it and it would run internal html files no problem but won't get properly from websites.
I just tried epiphany on an RPi3 (albeit remotely) - at first after typing forum.tinycorelinux.net <enter>, nothing happened, but after clicking at the end of the line in the address bar and hitting return, the page came up.
I tried several sites on several tabs after the above (which I'd guess is an epiphany/webkit bug) and they all worked.

Hi Juanito
I believe the RPi0 2W is armv7
I stand corrected. I saw it was a zero and foolishly presumed it had the same processor as the original. :-[
However, my advice on using tce-load still stands.
