Title: Can Ventoy bootable usb create bootloader's hard drive when I install TC to hd?
Post by: gam on June 01, 2021, 03:04:26 AM
Anyone install tinycore to hard drive from Ventoy bootable usb? Is it still live-cd mode? I have been having Ventoy bootable in my usb flash. I will delete it to make a grub2 bootable, if that's the only way. So, can Ventoy bootable usb create bootloader's hard drive when I install tinycore to hard drive?

Hi gam
Ventoy appears to be for booting ISO and image type files. So if you use it to boot one of the Tinycore ISO files, you
will be in  "live-cd mode".  After booting the ISO, you can use the  Apps  utility to install  tc-install-GUI.tcz , which
can be used to install Tinycore to a hard drive or USB flash drive.
