Title: dCore-buster64 and hplip
Post by: volkerp on May 14, 2021, 02:49:05 AM
Hi,

does anybody use hplip (the HP Linux Imaging and Printing System) in dCore?

In my case hp-check aborts with

Code: [Select]
warning: dcore distro is not found in AUTH_TYPES
Any help appreciated.

Hi volkerp
I don't use HPLIP, but came across this:
Quote
... ran hp-setup -i
followed prompts
printed test page ...

Hi Rich,

thank you very much for the link.

In the meantime I dealt some more in-depth with the subject and I came to the conclusion, that HPLIP is not suitable to be used in dCore.
