Title: >Linux on an 8-bit micro?
Post by: mocore on March 26, 2021, 07:53:01 AM

if you have some time on your hands ....  apparently it is possible to boot linux on "ATmega1284p` via ARM emulator !

https://web.archive.org/web/20210212133543/https://dmitry.gr/?r=05.Projects&proj=07.%20Linux%20on%208bit

something to remember if you hear that X hw "can't run Linux"

eg : https://hackaday.com/2021/02/19/the-raspberry-pi-pico-cant-run-linux-but-it-can-run-fuzix/
