Title: Pi-hole
Post by: jim.h on September 05, 2019, 07:16:44 PM
As was mentioned in this thread: http://forum.tinycorelinux.net/index.php/topic,22979.msg143855.html#msg143855 ..it would be great to have a TCZ for pi-hole. It's made up of a few components, with the main ingredient seemingly being the bash scripts from the core repo: https://github.com/pi-hole/pi-hole

The automated install script for pi-hole unfortunately limits the installation to the Debian or Red Hat families: https://github.com/pi-hole/pi-hole/blob/1a741f696eec2ee148fc59bc0dc98e862475e6ef/automated%20install/basic-install.sh#L176

Having a lightweight pi-hole OS based on TinyCore would be fantastic--has anyone started working on getting pi-hole to work with TC?

I looked at it, but it’s scripts are too dependent on a full os.....more than just the initial install.
