Title: Which TC is most matured/stable ?
Post by: labeas on July 31, 2019, 12:35:57 PM
I only chose 64bit for the laptop, after my PC/s were stolen,
because I falsely believed that the 3G dongle needed it.
Since then, some of my good-old-32bit-apps don't run.
The SanDisk USBstiks which dominated the market here, have been
a bad choice - I've bought 5 - because the plasic-sides wear away.
Toshiba-stiks, which cost the same have METAL-plugs, but have the
problem of being too wide for 2-side-by-side.
Because the 16GB ToshiStik has already got another 32bit system,
which uses syslinux.cfg, I believe that I could just add the 32bitTC
entry, with the required kernel & initr*, to be able to run 32bitTC
from the existing ToshiStik.     Is that correct ?
I have, and will continue to resist adding X11 & bash to TC64,
where I'm hoping to update to Ver10.x from this Ver7.2, for the
UEFI-locked laptop. But having `sed` which doesn't work per-spec
is a no-no for any proper *nix system. The new 32bit system MUST
behave like a standard linux installation.

So, which TC should I chose?  What's the URL to wget the files?
== TIA.

You have the choice between busybox sed and gnu sed

Busybox is the base system utils on TinyCore, you want to add the Linux core-utils to have all options available in the system utils.
