Something I always forget when running Tc, dCore, or even piCore ..
If you are using high-res monitors at native resolution, (perhaps if you've loaded the graphics driver which may do that for you), yet still like working with the standard menus and fltk/flwm utilities, they may be a bit small back when 1024x768 or so was about it for most.
So you reset your graphics back on your high-resolution monitor to 1024x768 or so (in grub.cfg, syslinux.cfg etc) because you like working with the utilities at that size.
Then don't forget to rotate your sharpness control (Um, go into your monitor's menus) and crank up the sharpness. It will help your eyes.
Obviously you don't need to crank up the sharpness if you are going to be running at a higher native resolution, and perhaps only using the original utils sparingly with a full-blown Xorg and typical full blown desktop environment.
But for those of us willing to dial our modern large native-resolution back down for simpler environments, try adjusting your monitor's sharpness. Ah, that's better.
