Title: How use VC4 driver in piCore 9
Post by: Kaneador on March 27, 2019, 12:49:10 PM
Hello, mates.

I have been doing different configurations with a RP with piCore 9 and I have managed to do many things that I wanted to do. However, there is one that I find quite strange.

I have read in the forum different post about the driver for VC4 and it seems that it is already incorporated in piCore 8.

However, I used ffplay to play a streaming video and the image does not look smooth in HD, as if there was no hardware acceleration.

I have installed Xorg, table ... but nothing seems to change.

I have also read the wiki but I have not found anything about it. Could you give me some clue as to what I may be doing wrong?

Thank you!

Well, no matter. I've compiled omxplayer and it works for what I wanted.

Thanks to everyone!
