Title: Compiling with meson and missing la files

As meson uses pkg-config to identify deps, it does not produce autotools la files.

Unfortunately, many autotools packages still require la files to compile and will fail with errors of the form "/usr/local/lib/libatk-1.0.la appears to be missing".

To help with compiling autotools packages, missing la files have been posted to:
