Title: How do you get kodi to compile?
Post by: Lassar on January 31, 2018, 01:02:44 PM
Thought I would get brave and try to compile kodi 17.6.

My problem is that cmake gives me errors.

I think  I followed the instructions. Maybe I missed something.

I got the source from github.

Where did your source code come from?

I noticed that the instructions on (http://tinycorelinux.net/8.x/x86_64/tcz/src/kodi/compile_kodi) used configure instead of cmake.

On this page says: target ARCH. Does this mean the source came from arch linux.

Or did some one hand craft, the configure for arch linux?

Would it be better to get the source from arch linux?

Or is Gentoo source better for tiny core?

One of the extensions listed to be loaded on that page is  cmake.tcz.

No, it refers to processor architecture.
