Post by: aug on July 28, 2017, 12:38:29 PM
The tcz contains an outdated version of chromium.
How can i get a new version?
or
How can i install an app (adblocker) with a version not supported by the store?

Instead of installing an ad-blocking plugin, you could edit your  /etc/hosts  file. This way it works for any program running on your box.
There are threads about this here on the forum.
This one in particular: http://forum.tinycorelinux.net/index.php/topic,19361.msg119288.html

this is a way .... but you need to keep the host file up to date... and it doesn't help against that some websites told you that you are used an unsupported browser and looks very strange...
