With Google, I see this was an issue with Slackware, Arch, and Debian users as calibre is very finicky with it's python and QT installs matching.  I am looking for a fix, but at least it is not dCore specific, I

Calibre does not work at the command line on a standard Debian Utopic install, but there libGL errors are the ones reported.  I will try to make it happen, but we are dealing with a complex package.
