Title: Wiki: section about specific machines
Post by: sm8ps on May 17, 2015, 07:05:26 AM
I have added a sction about specific machines to the welcome-page
http://wiki.tinycorelinux.net/dcore:welcome#specific_machines (http://wiki.tinycorelinux.net/dcore:welcome#specific_machines)
its first entry being one about an Aspire One ZG5 netbook
http://wiki.tinycorelinux.net/dcore:acer_aspire_one_zg5?&#suspend (http://wiki.tinycorelinux.net/dcore:acer_aspire_one_zg5?&#suspend)

I feel it would be very helpful if people published their machine-specific quirks as there is sometimes quite some tinkering necessary to get things running the way one would like them to.

Just added a page about a Fujitsu-Siemens Lifebook T4010D, a Tablet PC from around 2005:

The sweet little machine runs like a roe buck on dCore. It is phantastic!

My next challenge will be the legendary Compaq TC1000 (Transmeta Crusoe processor) from 2003.
