Title: Enable KMS in Micro Core 6.1 for high resolution console

Ive been trying to find some documentation on this all morning. for the moment I am booting with vga=305, which works for now. but i'd really like to be using KMS instead. is there a document somewhere on how to enable it? when i boot without the vga option, it boots in to a standard 80x24 or w/e console

does loading the graphics-KERNEL extension help?

You get KMS automatically by loading the graphics-KERNEL and possibly firmware on boot. Radeons need firmware at least.
