I have edited the start script of fontconfig.tcz (/usr/local/tce.installed/fontconfig) and repacked this extension to decrease boot time by a few secons.
#!/bin/sh
#fc-cache -s -f -v
When I try downloading anything that depends on fontconfig, it fails.
fontconfig.tcz: FAILED
md5sum: WARNING: 1 of 1 computed checksums did NOT match
Error on fontconfig.tcz
fontconfig.tcz.md5.txt is still the original.
Is there a way I can ignore the md5sum check without removing it from the tce-load script?

Create a new md5.txt file.

Thanks, it's working.
I thought the md5 sum would be compared to the *.tcz.md5.txt stored on the server but it doesn't.

AFAIK /etc/sysconfig/tcedir/$NAME.tcz.md5.txt is used if already present
(usually after being downloaded from the server or a mirror via use of 'apps' or 'tce-load' )

This happens when updating extensions.

To prevent myself from accidentally 'update' my modified fontconfig.tcz, I've now included it into core.gz.
Any script in /usr/local/tce.installed/ won't be executed anyway if it's not contained in a TCZ extension, correct?

I have a cure for that!! Standby

Unfortunately, power saving features don't work on my netbook. Some kind of allergy I guess.
