Title: Help to install quagga.tcz permanently on TinyCore 5-2

Hi,

I am new to TinyCore and I am trying to install quagga.tcz from www.tinycorelinux.net/4.x/x86/tcz/quagga.tcz permanently on TinyCore 5.2 but I cannot make the installation permanently.

I am doing the following steps with no success

wget http://www.tinycorelinux.net/4.x/x86/tcz/quagga.tcz
wget http://www.tinycorelinux.net/4.x/x86/tcz/quagga.tcz.dep
wget http://www.tinycorelinux.net/4.x/x86/tcz/readline.tcz
tce-load –i quagga/tcz

The message is saying that the installation is O.K. but every time I restart TinyCore, all files under /usr/local/sbin are gone.

Coud you please show me the the correct way to install Quagga.

Please read the wiki articles on persistence.
You need a persistent tce directory.
Then 'tce-load -iw quagga' will install it and set it as 'onboot'.

Does quagga extension still available?

Why don't you check wit the tce command or

http://repo.tinycorelinux.net/5.x/x86/tcz/

?

I've already checked with tce before ... no result

can't find here also

Quick search on tcemirror (http://repo.tinycorelinux.net/) shows that quagga is only available on 4.x
http://repo.tinycorelinux.net/4.x/x86/tcz/src/quagga/

You could send a pm to the extension maintainer, brezular, to request an update or copy the exension and dep file from tc-4.x and try it in later versions of tc.
