Post by: Juanito on January 11, 2014, 12:04:31 AM
The second release candidate of Tiny Core v5.2 is now posted and ready for testing:

http://www.tinycorelinux.net/5.x/x86/release_candidates

Change log:
* init: increase the default inode count
* ondemand: don't list extensions under subdirs in onboot maintenance
* ldd: add wildcard to support both x86 and x86_64
* busybox updated to 1.21.1 plus wget patches and split suid/nosuid for better security
* ldd: Added quotes for binaries with spaces in their names
* /etc/services: modified to suit rpcbind rather than portmap
* tc-functions: Removed the getpasswd stars to allow backspace to work

Note:

rootfs64.gz available for corepure64 testing

/etc/services mod will break nfs share mounting, a new nfs-utils extension will be issued with the final version of tc-5.2

Yes, but this is release candidate testing and pcmanfm is an extension  :)

To get pcmanfm fixed you need to post in the TCE Bugs section.
