Team Tiny Core announces Core v5.0.1, a minor adjustments release, is now available for x86

http://www.tinycorelinux.net/5.x/x86/release

Change log:
* Updated tc-functions: setupHome to preserve permissions on persistent home.
* Updated tc-config: minor adjustments for setupHome.
* Updated zlib-1.2.7 -> 1.2.8 due to bug (thanks to user helasz for reporting this).

Note that the following extensions will need updating:

Xlibs: changes due to setupHome modifications
Xprogs: added "sudo" box to flrun ("run programs" fltk gui)
zlib_base-dev

Hi Juanito!

Set up an SD card for TC 5.0.1 today and it works pretty well. Missing some extensions but that goes in another thread. So, GOOD WORK team Tiny Core!!!

Hi again!

There is maybe a little snag in the new TC. I can't manage to delete extensions from ondemand. Might be something to check up. Oterwise just need some more extensions to make a full transition.
