Title: piCore running a ssh server out of the box
Post by: str4ng3r on July 07, 2013, 06:54:15 AM
Hi.

Is it possible to enable every new image of piCore with an ssh server?
I think it would be a very good upgrade since you could start working on your server even if you dont have readily available display screen and/or usb keyboard.

With the SSH server running right out of the box you could use putty to start working and the picore box directly from your computer.

Just an idea  8)

Thanks.

It can be done. However I want to keep piCore as it is now as the basis for other systems and keep number of variants as low as possible. Maybe the best is to add preconfigured SSH to piCore-X.

Yes, having preconfigured ssh on picore-X would be a great improvement.
Is it possible for you to get that tuned up version of picore-X on an image file like... today? :-)
