There are no such apps in the repo. Can you provide links to upstream source code you are missing for RPi?

thank bmarkus

for owfs : sourceforge.net/projects/owfs/files/owfs/2.9p0/
for i2c-tools : dl.lm-sensors.org/i2c-tools/releases/i2c-tools-3.1.0.tar.bz2

Both owfs and i2c-tools compiles on piCore so .tcz's can be created. However I can't test them as do not have any 1-wire hardware.

Thank you very much for ic2-tool , I test as soon as I have a moment

my tce directory  : /mnt/mmcblk0p1
size 37.2M : used 22.5M :  available : 14.7M

howto resize ?
or format libre space ( fat32 ext ?)and move tce directory ?

Do not use /mnt/mmcblk0p1, keep it untouched. Create a new Linux ext4 partition and a swap on unpartitioned part of SD card than create a tce directory on the new Linux partition. After reboot piCore will use it automatically to store downloaded extensions and to keep backups.

ok thank ,
the swap partition used just for the compiled program ?

ok thank ,
the swap partition used just for the compiled program ?

Linux systems need swap partition by default. While it is not a must have, running without swap is an exception and soon you can face to out of memory situations specially compiling bigger applications or running memory hungry programs. Having a 4G or larger SD card can't be a problem to have 512M swap.

Alternatively you can use swap file instead of partition. Benefit is you can change it's size flexibly or omit at all. It is not mounted automatically, you must add it to bootlocal.sh

Dear Béla

That goes to show my english is bad

for test my owfs : owfs use fuse

i succeeded owfs compile  , but no compile fuse ( i believe , it is included in kernel 3.8.13) but he cannot do it

can you put kernel header of 3.8.13-PiCore or remake img with fuse ?

have you put your owfs.tcz in repo ?

Thank you and sorry

hello Béla

Thanks, we are fine. Budapest is well prepared for such flooding and there is a usual Saturday night city. Roads running parallel to Danube are closed, there are traffic lights and signs with top 40cm out of water and few buildings are closed including tram stations so there are some traffic issues, but it's OK. Country side is different, few villages are evacuated and can't be accessed.

hello,
after owfs compiled , i test with ds2482-100 ( i2c > 1wire ) and ds18b20 ( temperature ) is good . No use owfs deamon ( because i cannot  compile Fuse ) , but with owserver deamon.

first :
Code: [Select]
modprobe i2c-dev
Code: [Select]
i2cdetect -y 0 or i2cdetect -y 1 ( for the ds2482-100 ) , i see the ds2482-100 at
Code: [Select]
/dev/i2c-1
second :
Code: [Select]
sudo ./owserver -d /dev/i2c-1 -p 3001
Code: [Select]
sudo ./owhttpd -s 3001 -p 8080

with internet browser i see my ds18b20 with http:// ( ip of Rpi ):8080

Béla , if you want, I can test your compile owfs , when you have free time , put your owfs.tcz in repo . thank

Install filesystems-3.8.13-piCore.tcz from the repo, it will provide fuse.ko kernel module. You may need to load it manually with

modprobe fuse

Thanks for the feedback. There are few features disabled build time like PHP support as it is not yet in the repo, but can be added later. Good to hear it is usable :) One more field for piCore use.

for keep size sdcard img ~ 40 M , no dependances  need :  tcl.tcz on owfs.tcz , and i2c-tools.tcz no need perl5.tcz

step 2: MCP32017 with phyton language , need python-smbus module ( in i2c-tools ) py-smbus compile , can you put in i2c-tools.tcz ?

thank you

tcl.tcz is a soft depenedency, needed only for tcl scripts. I will remove from the .dep list and mention in .info file. Same for perl5

I see. Currently I do not have hardware to test, I will grab a temp sensor.
