Title: Help installing Tiny Core.
Post by: Kiyuubi on May 08, 2012, 12:20:17 PM
Hello I have a really old laptop, 133 MHz Intel processor and 64 MB of RAM.

I was trying to install Tiny Core on it, but it will not.  It won't even boot into it.  I am at the screen to select modes and such and I use the default and I get a failed message and such.

Help?

You need to provide the exact error messages for us to be able to help.

I'm sorry I have no idea what they are talking about in that thread...

The error goes away too fast for me to see.   I tried it on my current laptop and it works fine.

Again, it's not helpful to say "won't even boot". Please be exact in what is the thing you see last in the boot.

Hi Kiyuubi
Try adding the boot code   boot_delay=2000   to the command line, that should slow down the messages.
