Hi Roberts, it looks fine and clear!. Perfect!
That was what I wanted to say with my poor english in:

Do you really need ginormous buttons, or is this the result of the use of tiling window managers?
IMHO, It is results like this that I do not care of tiling window managers. It is fine if all one uses is xterm and cli but other than that it destroys the intended look and feel.
-
No, that is just the odd way controlpanel stretches.
Only the utilities column stretches horizontally, and
only the network row stretches vertically.
-
Must be WM specific as I do not get such results with default flwm.
-
I am also running flwm_topside and Xvesa.
I get the same results on multiple machines.
-
lol I could not figure out this window until downloading the screenshot to read those buttons.. Now it's clear and yes mine does the same using on xvesa and flwm_topside
That's funny, who would have thought of resizing that window..
-
just controlpanel should not stretch vertically or horizontally as in flwm*
controlpanel should not be stretched in any way
and another the same trifles:
here (http://distro.ibiblio.org/tinycorelinux/downloads.html), change the version number to 4.5.1
superfluous letters in CorePlus-4.5.1.iso/iso9660://boot/isolinux/isolinux.cfg
LABEL cxw
MENU LABEL Boot Core with X/GUI (TinyCore) + Wifi Extensiion.
TEXT HELP

Use TAB to edit desktop= to boot to alternate window manager.
ENDTEXT
KERNEL /boot/vmlinuz
APPEND initrd=/boot/core.gz quiet cde showapps lst=xwbase.lst base desktop=flwm_topside
-
Refreshed the version number.
-
Repost of 4.5.1 with trival changes not worthy of a .2
-
i yet wanted to ask about what was skipped my notification here (http://forum.tinycorelinux.net/index.php/topic,13046.msg71994.html#msg71994)
about locales loading at tinycore boot time
this does not affect either to working capacity nor localizations displaying
because this can happen only in case if the locales is already installed
but the tinycore boots without lang bootcode
therefore this is not error but it is a mismatch
-
Done.
-
I cannot update Xprogs.tcz. I think its entry in md5.db.gz is wrong. [?]
-
Server side cron job had caught up. Should be fine now.
-
i propose for consider some changes to scm-load which i explained here (http://forum.tinycorelinux.net/index.php/topic,13177.msg72846.html#msg72846)
and pay attention here (http://forum.tinycorelinux.net/index.php/topic,13177.msg72847.html#msg72847) to some unpleasant features at work with scm
-
No decision has been made to hard code another exception to "self contained". Pending...
-
i again want to stress that when using the scmapps for scm module deleting
scmapps -> apps -> local -> delete -> go
then will be deleted tcz extension with the similar name together with scm

Please post bug reports in the appropriate section. Your posts are not news.
When posting a bug report please give specific examples with reproducible results.
I could not reproduce tar.scm removing tar-locales.scm nor tar-locales.scm removing tar.scm.
-
Hi roberts
I think he is saying that when both tar.tcz and tar.scm are installed, removing tar.scm also causes tar.tcz
to be removed.
-
OK. Thanks. Theoretical limit testing, as I could see no value at all in loading an scm if you already have its tcz version loaded. As scm pick lists do not include its extension type I can see it,

thank you Rich for being able to correctly translate my terrible english explanation to normal language :D
-
Hi AbNoRMiS
You are welcome.
-
Both reported issues are now fixed.
1. Scm delete without affecting a same-named tcz.
2. Scmboot.lst updated upon deletion of a referenced scm.
Looks like I will be issuing a 4.5.2
