Title: XFE Fail to Start
Post by: SamK on March 04, 2012, 06:35:53 AM
When using xvesa, XFE fails to start via the GUI.  In a terminal an error message is obtained
Code: [Select]
xfe-bin: error while loading shared libraries: libXcursor.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directoryMissisng Xorg-7.[56]-lib?

...I will put them in tonight.
Updated using ScmBrowser-->ScmApps-->Local-->Updates
Result: Xfe now starts successfully.

On an attendant note, might it be worth adding in the info file that this scm installs Xfe, Xfi, Xfp, Xfv and Xfw?  Currently, it indicates only that a file manager wil be installed.

Additionally, I am unclear on the benefit of installing Xfp as its Help-->About describes it as:

...a simple rpm or deb package manager.
