G4L is more a standalone operating system than software for an extension (it provides .iso Images to start a system from)... AFAICS it cannot be easily turned into an extension for Tiny Core. One would have to split up the sources, compare the rootfs', use other shells, change scripts - in one word, it would be nonsense ;)

Uffff ... I don't know that details.  But G4L is included within other Linux distributions.  I found it in RIP Linux distribution included into Hiren's Boot CD.

Yes, and those toolset distributions are nothing more than a boot menu with lots of options to
boot many standalone utilities gathered from many isolated projects.

Arch Linux had a AUR package for it, but I am not sure if the source for it is still available as it was no longer available according to the AUR package changelog.

The source, a tar.gz of the iso, is still there, and the AUR package copies over the g4l binaries, but upon looking at the whole source it is probably best to just download it and use it as a bootable iso keeping all it's included utilities.
