touch screen - and xorg

Hi ppl,

I'm trying to install a touchscreen on tiny core 3.0, but when i run th sh config file i've the following output:

(E) No X configuration file found.

i've tried to install xorg 7.5, and graphics2.6.33.3, but the output is the same.

Anyone have any sugestion?

You can create one if you need it, see the info file.
The only barriers that can stop you are the ones you create yourself.

I've tried Xorg -configure

But when launch x -config "/home/tc/xorg.conf.new"

X doesnt start

And i've tried too with xorg.conf.vesa and x doesn't start again and show me a white line blinking at top left corner o the screen!

A Via chip that's not supported? What's your touchscreen, perhaps you can get it to work with xvesa (I'm assuming Xvesa works fine for you).
The only barriers that can stop you are the ones you create yourself.

yes xvesa works fine for me but i cant instal eGalaxyTouch(touch driver) with xvesa, because driver require x config file that isn't found.

I tried to get an eGalax touch screen going with TC also a while ago and I gave up without getting it going.
I would also be very interested in the solution.

you could try the xvtouch extension, which works with Xvesa
