dillo mising libXinerama.so.1 dependancy
« on: August 05, 2010, 11:47:20 AM »
The title says it all.  Installing and running dillo gives me an error saying it can't find thefile libXinerama.so.1.

I grapped libxinerama1 from debain packages, and copied the file into /usr/lib, and dillo works!

Ugh.  It also won't let me log in to this forum.  Gives me a blank yellow page in response, and if I click "reload", causes a segmentation fault.  Not sure if that's caused by the porting of it to TCL, or if it's a more general fault of dillo.

Only in case of 2.x install Xlibs_support.tcz, for 3.x see next post.

Xlibs_support.tcz is deprecated.  Use Xorg-7.5-lib.tcz instead.

dillo can't login to forums

Using Xorg-7.5-lib now, which seems to satisfy dillo, but I still can't log in to the forums here.  I just get a yellow screen.

I've allowed cookies in dillo, and the console shows various traffic relating to cookies, but nothing but solid yellow in the dillo html pane.

"Reload" at this point causes dillo to immediately crash, printing "Segmentation fault" to the console.  Bummer dude.

There are some strange redirection and refresh issues in that dillo release, which cause this error.
On this forum don't refresh, but go to forum.tinycorelinux.net manually after having logged in.
