Step 1-) Set root and <user> password
sudo passwd root

I installed this on a 2gig flash drive and am now wondering what to replace the 'flwm-topside' in 'desktop=flwm-topside' with in syslinux.cfg to boot with gnome.

desktop= is only necessary if you have loaded more than one window manager.
