[SOLVED] Can you create any folder to be persistant?
« on: April 23, 2010, 04:29:50 PM »
hi

I am aware there are a number of threads on persistance.

I tried to have a grub line that defined......etc=sda2 in the same way that home, for me was .....home=sda2

But as a TC newbie, maybe the code does not allow anything other than home, opt and tce as persistant?

EDIT

It looks like there is an answer post 48 here
http://forum.tinycorelinux.net/index.php?topic=2817.45

So /home and /opt are the only locations that are backed up?

(reply) Yes

[Answer truncated as I am only referring to being able to create a persistant folder other than home or opt]
