Can someone please outline the exact steps to force a password in MicroCore

This does not work:

1. Install fresh MicroCore
2. Add bootcodes "noautologin" and "secure"
3. Reboot
4. Provide TC and ROOT passwords
5. chpasswd the TC and ROOT passwords
6. add etc/shadow to .filetool.lst
7. Reboot

Password is still not required.

Selecting backup option at shutdown enough, or does the user need to make a backup "manually"?
