1.Only ibiblio.org will be offline - as opposed to all mirrors.

2.The concepts of optionally using

a. a PPR (personal persistant repository)
b. a (possibly dynamic) remaster
c. a PPI (personal persistent installation) - less supported
4. a scatter install - unsupported

are clearly documented since a long time.
