We have backups from 2019, and yes, the DNS is ours.

About the ping, that's part of the port scanning protection. You essentially blocked yourself for a short time.

What about redirecting to a new service, and reconstituting all the old data form the archive?
(You would loose the editing history but maintain the actual latest copy before it went down)

Wiki credentials were tied to the forum, ie the wiki must run on the same server as the forum.

"Why not set up a new forum & wiki then?" - time, energy, money. Plus losing three years of forum posts.

I run several wikis, casually dev some plugins for VE.  So I know you can run a wiki on a secondary server and you are pointing to wiki.tinycorelinux.net so its easy enough to change the DNS to another Wiki server.

Forums can stay as they are for now, no need to change that.

What do you think?

I dont mind helping with any of these aspects.

It's a usability limitation if you have to register separately to the wiki.

The login is broken because of PHP. That was the first issue with the wiki, before the admin went uncontactable.

The last wiki backup was posted in one of these threads. You're free to play with it if you want, at least two members have done so so far.
