How to use a boot code
« on: January 28, 2017, 02:20:06 AM »
I have made a personal tcz. According to the wiki I must test the tcz while boot TC with the cheat code "base norestore". I am sorry, but I can't find where to place the boot code. I tried extlinux.conf. But that did not work. Can you tell me how TC boot with this boot code?

If you added the boot codes base and norestore to extlinux.conf and nothing changed, maybe you are not using syslinux to boot?

If you're making a extension for yourself, it doesn't have to follow the rules on wiki.

I tried extlinux.conf.

If  you're using syslinux as your boot loader, you can modify the boot code by pressing TAB before the count down is over.

Solved. I had the boat codes placed on the next line instead of behind APPEND. Thanks
