query vmlinuz-jessie download issue from website
« on: December 19, 2015, 04:10:50 AM »
Attempting to download vmlinuz-jessie in Dillo from http://tinycorelinux.net/dCore/x86/release_candidates/dCore-jessie/ fails, prints gibberish in Dillo like when attempting to open an executable in a text editor. Dillo is otherwise working well, for example dCore-jessie.gz link downloads fine.

Maybe dillo has the usual right-click -> save target as option?
The only barriers that can stop you are the ones you create yourself.

Me thinks you're correct again curaga, only in Dillo it's named 'save link as...', so i thought it would just download an html link or URL shortcut not the actual file. Funny that the usual left click doesn't work, however, on that file. The download box doesn't even open but the file eventually shows up in /tmp, so it appears to work. Sorry for any confusion, chalk up as user error or Dillo quirk.
