claws-mail problem
« on: November 25, 2015, 03:11:55 PM »
I migrated my claws mail settings to tinycore. Generally it worked fine. But i've a small problem:

I disactivated the orthography check and changed the colours. But this settings are not stored. Any time i reboot, claws-mail comes up with orthography check activated and the default colour setup. Other settings are stored (for example i changed for tinycore the spamfilter program (bsfilter instead of spamassassin)) - i think in  ~/.claws-mail.

May be someone out here has an idea? Thanks a lot in advance.

Are you backing up the config files?

Aren't the backup files situated in the $HOME/.claws-mail folder? $HOME is in the bootcodes, so i think it is backed up by default.

What do you mean $HOME is in the boot codes?
If you mean home= boot code, you do NOT want it in the backup.

As you said. And indeed home is NOT in the backup - anymore ... ;)
