is apps-audit history?
« on: February 17, 2015, 12:30:59 PM »
I've seen several forum posts and tc web pages mentioning apps-audit but can't find a tcz for it. It seems I can accomplish things with apps browser that have been shown to be done with apps-audit.

apps-audit features moved to apps browser? apps-audit is the past?

Hi ttz
As of TC4 it is still included (/usr/bin/appsaudit). I don't know about TC5 or 6.

It is part of core.  Apps is just a GUI on top of it.

I am not pressed to chase this down since I've done what I needed with app browser. What follows is FYI should it matter or be helpful to someone else.

In terminal:
>version
5.4

>ls /usr/bin/ | head -n 8
[
[[
ar
arping
autoscan-devices
awk
backup
basename

>which apps-audit
(no output)

Thank you for your replies!
